Party Lights Hire
Lights hire can add some fantastic atmosphere to your party. Party Lights can transform a plain setting into a colourful and fun environment. We have a range of lighting hire options available:
- Party Light Hire – Party lights come in a range of forms and sizes. From colourful LEDs, festive lanterns for party decorations to strobe lights, we have a complete range of lighting solutions for all types of events and parties, whether indoor or outdoor.
- Lasers hire– Our lasers will transform your event space into a real party zone. We have red, blue, green and tricoloured lasers. They shoot out a range of coloured laser beams and patterns, and create some awesome tunnel effects.
- Intelligent effect light– Our intelligent light hire is the most popular light that we hire out. They are a great versatile light that shoots out all different colours, shapes and patters. They are called intelligent lights because a little sensor inside detects the speed of the music playing at your party and moves the light beams with the beat of the music. They can sit on the floor, a table or can be attached to our lighting stands which are also available for hire.
- Up lights and par can hire– If you want to light up walls, the colour of a room, plants and trees, beams, columns or anything else, a par can or up light will achieve this. We have LED par cans and LED strips for hire which both provide a nice colour wash. They can be set to any colour, and will light up your room when you combine a few of them together for the best effect.
- Strobe light hire– the classic strobe light is a popular effect light used at parties in Sydney. The light flicks on and off at a super fast rate, creating the illusion that everyone is moving in slow motion.
Lighting Hire FAQs
- Do you set up the lighting?
- Typically we don't, but can offer this service if you would like us to, however there is a labour cost. The lights are very easy to use and our delivery team can show you how to operate them. They can be placed on a floor, table or bench. If you want to mount the lights you are welcome provided you don't damage the lighting. They do have brackets on them.
- What colours can the lights be set to?
- Most of our lighting can be set to multiple colours, with all the main colours available including: red, white, blue, green, orange, pink, yellow, purple and so on. Some lights can be set to a fixed colour or on modes where they change colours. Please let us know the lighting product you're interested in and we can advise what will work best for your styling.
- Do you offer delivery?
- Yes, we offer all our lighting hire products for delivery in both Sydney and Melbourne. If you want to save delivery fees, you can also collect from our warehouses.
- What types of lighting do you offer?
- We have all types and styles to suit different applications. See recommendations below based on the outcome you are trying to achieve:
- Ambient lighting — if you just want a nice, moody style of lighting, we suggest the par cans. They create a nice colour wash and can be set to a fixed colour. Our festoon lights are also popular; the warm yellow bulb offers light whilst maintaining a subtle mood.
- Party lighting — for events where you want a lot of colour, movement and activity, we suggest the intelligent lights. They shoot out different coloured beams and shapes, and move with the beat of the music to create vibrancy. The lasers are also ideal for this, shooting brightly coloured beams around the room.
- Practical white lighting — if you just need normal, bright white lighting, you are best with the flood lights.
- Table lighting — we have a range of table lamps which look elegant and will offer understated lighting for your dinner setting.
