Bar furniture for events of all sizes
No two events are the same, and the way the space is set up plays a big part in how it feels on the day. A smaller gathering may only need a simple arrangement that keeps guests connected, while larger events benefit from multiple areas that spread people out and avoid congestion.
With the right bar furniture hire in place, you can scale the setup to suit the size of your event without overcomplicating the layout. The goal is to create a space that feels open, easy to move through, and comfortable for guests from start to finish.
Bar setups that suit your space
Every venue has its own layout, whether it's a tight indoor setting or a wide open outdoor space. The way your bar areas are positioned can either help the event flow naturally or create unnecessary bottlenecks if not planned properly.
Well-placed tables and service points allow guests to move freely without crowding one area. A considered setup also helps keep key zones accessible, so guests can grab a drink, catch up with others, and move on without interrupting the overall flow of the event.
Balancing bar tables and seating
Getting the mix right between standing and seated options is key to keeping guests comfortable throughout the event. Too much standing space can wear people out over time, while too much seating can slow the energy of the room.
A balanced approach allows guests to move between both, giving them the flexibility to stand, sit, and socialise as they choose. This is especially important for longer events, where comfort becomes just as important as atmosphere.
Bar furniture delivered and set up properly
Timing and presentation matter just as much as the furniture itself. Everything needs to arrive when expected and be positioned in a way that works with the space, not against it.
Our team handles delivery and setup with a focus on reliability and attention to detail, so you can be confident everything is ready to go without last-minute adjustments. If you need guidance, we can also help plan a layout that makes the most of your venue.
Bar Hire FAQs
How Many Guests Should Congregate Around A Cocktail Table?
Typically, 4 guests is the ideal number, but you could fit 5 if standing. If using stools, we suggest a maximum of 4 guests only, otherwise it’s too crowded.
What Types Of Bar Furniture Can I Hire?
Our range covers cocktail tables, bar stools, portable bars, lounge furniture, LED bars and wine barrels. We also have a range of stools to go with the tables.
How Far Ahead Should We Book?
Bar furniture is very popular during the months of September and December as many corporate companies book them for end of year parties. They are also used for birthdays, weddings and outdoor festivals. It’s always best to order as soon as you have a confirmed event date. Only a small deposit is required and numbers can be adjusted up to a week prior to the event.
What Happens If Anything Is Damaged During Our Event?
Sometimes damages can occur. Minor wear is usually expected, but significant damage, stains, or missing items will incur replacement or repair charges. Always check the hire terms before booking and notify us immediately if anything has been badly damaged or stolen.
How Long Does The Hire Last For?
Our typical hire period is 24 hours, but we can often deliver the day before the event and collect the day after. If you need it for an extended period, we can accommodate this, however extra charges will apply.
Do You Deliver?
Yes, our bar furniture range is available across Sydney and Melbourne for a small delivery fee.
Does Party Hire Group Set Up The Equipment?
Typically we deliver the items stacked neatly in one location for you. However, if you would like our delivery team to complete the setup for you, this can be arranged for a small labour fee. A floor plan or someone present onsite on the day to direct placement is essential.
