Delivery & Collection Information
At Party Hire Group, we provide reliable and cost-effective delivery services for all hire equipment. Due to the scale of our operations, we are often able to consolidate deliveries within the same region, helping us keep delivery costs as low as possible for our customers.
Delivery charges vary based on several factors, including your location, the quantity and type of equipment hired, site access requirements, and delivery or collection times. For an accurate delivery quotation, please contact our team via phone or email with your event details. Some factors affecting logistics are detailed below.
Standard Delivery Service
Our standard delivery service includes the placement of all hire equipment in a single, neat stack at one ground level location that is easily accessible from our vehicle, with a four-hour access window.
Additional delivery charges may apply in the following circumstances:
- Equipment is required to be transported beyond ground level.
- The delivery location is more than 20 metres from where our vehicle can safely park or unload.
- Access involves stairs, lifts, escalators, ramps, steep inclines, or other obstacles.
- Large quantities of equipment require additional labour for loading, unloading, or transportation on site.
- Delivery or collection is required outside our standard operating hours of 7:30am to 4:00pm, Monday to Sunday.
- A specific delivery or collection time is requested and the standard four-hour delivery window cannot be accommodated. For example, if you need delivery exactly at 8am, additional charges would apply.
- Site access information was not disclosed at the time of booking and additional labour or transport requirements are identified upon arrival. In this case, we will call you for cost approval before undertaking the delivery.
- Failure to provide accurate delivery information at the time of booking may result in additional charges or, in some cases, our drivers being unable to complete the delivery.
Warehouse Collection (Dry Hire)
Selected products are available for customer collection from our Sydney and Melbourne warehouses, allowing customers to save on delivery costs.

Please note that customer collection is limited to selected items. Some equipment requires specialised transportation and handling and must be delivered by our team to ensure it remains in excellent condition or is safely set up.
Collection Requirements
All customer collections must be arranged in advance and are available strictly between 9am and 4:30pm, Monday to Friday. The warehouse is closed between 12pm and 12:30pm for lunch. Weekend warehouse collections and drop-offs are not available.
Customers collecting equipment must:
- Arrive with a suitable vehicle capable of safely transporting the hired items.
- Provide adequate packing blankets, straps and protective materials.
- Ensure the load can be safely secured for transport.
- Be physically capable of loading the items themselves, as the warehouse can sometimes be unmanned.
Our team reserves the right to refuse collection if the vehicle is deemed unsuitable, unsafe, or incapable of transporting the equipment securely. In such cases, delivery by our team may be required if available and additional charges may apply.
Delivery Times
Standard deliveries and collections are carried out between 8:00am and 4:00pm, seven days a week.
If you require delivery or collection at a specific time or outside these hours, please contact our team prior to booking. We will do our best to accommodate your requirements, however additional charges will apply.
To assist with planning, we typically provide a delivery window and our driver will contact you approximately 30 minutes before arrival. Delivery can sometimes be made the day prior, subject to equipment availability and logistical availability.
Acceptance of Delivery
An adult aged 18 years or older must be present at the delivery location to accept the equipment and sign the relevant hire documentation. If no authorised person is available upon arrival, additional charges may apply for re-delivery or waiting time.
